QR code tableside booking

When QR booking helps

Guests scan the code at the table and land on booking or waitlist. No server handoff. You capture demand during busy evenings.

QR works well in bar and terrace zones heavy on walk-ins. Table number is prefilled, reducing wrong-table assignments.

How do I create and print QR codes?

Generate per-table or menu codes under Settings → Channels → QR Booking. Logo and color come from widget settings; download PDF for table tents or laminated menu backs.

Table QR opens a booking window tied to that table; menu QR sends guests to the general form where they pick date and party size. Bulk PDF by area prints every table in one pack.

Alignment with booking rules

The QR form uses the same capacity, minimum party, and hours as the web widget. Rule changes apply to both channels at once.

To accept waitlist only during peak, enable Channels → QR → Waitlist mode.

The QR form requires privacy notice and consent checkboxes. Copy is pulled from legal documents and updated in admin.

Guests receive confirmation by SMS or email. Marketing opt-in is a separate checkbox from service messages.

Operational tips

Scan one code before each service. In weak Wi-Fi corners, print a short link instead.

Check faded codes monthly. Generate new QR when you add tables.
