Where do you land after signup?
After completing the website signup form or registering at openrez.co/kayit, the setup wizard walks you through account, venue, team, and plan steps. When finished, your admin panel opens at platform.openrez.co.
Your first task is to define the venue name, timezone, and bookable areas. Dining room, terrace, and private room zones appear in both the booking form and floor map.
How do I set up venue and bookable areas?
Each venue has a unique URL, for example acme-restaurant.openrez.co. Share this link on social profiles, Google Business Profile, and your website.
When adding areas, set capacity, minimum party size, and opening hours per area. If terrace and indoor dining have different hours, configure them separately rather than one global schedule.
Under Settings → Venue → General, enter brand name, slug, and timezone. Create bookable zones under Settings → Areas, dining room, terrace, bar, and set capacity and turn time for each.
Team roles and access
The first user is automatically Admin. When inviting hosts, servers, or finance staff, assign roles accordingly: hosts approve bookings, servers see the daily list only.
If the invite email does not arrive, check spam. Before resending, cancel any pending invite in the Users list.
Plan selection and limits
The final wizard step lets you choose Starter, Pro, or Enterprise. Your plan sets area count, SMS quota, and advanced modules. Billing currency is assigned based on your country selection.
The panel warns you before you exceed plan limits. Check your area quota before adding new bookable zones.
Test your first booking
After setup, open your booking link on your phone and submit a test reservation. The confirmation should appear in the panel and (if enabled) via SMS or email.
Delete the test booking before service; otherwise it will skew occupancy reports.
