Where to get the embed code
Go to platform.openrez.co → Settings → Channels → Web Widget. Copy the iframe code or JavaScript snippet and paste it on your reservations page.
On WordPress, a Custom HTML block works best. Use a child theme or snippet plugin so theme updates do not wipe the code.
Domain verification
For security, the form only loads on whitelisted domains. Add your full domain including www. Subdomains count separately. Add both www and apex.
If you have staging, add staging.domain.com too; otherwise tests will show a blank form.
Brand and consent settings
The form pulls your venue logo and primary brand color automatically. Changes in the panel apply instantly. No need to re-paste code.
The guest form shows privacy notice and consent checkboxes. Copy comes from legal documents and is updated via CMS admin.
Page layout tips
A dedicated reservations page converts better than burying the form below your menu. Link the "Reservations" nav item directly to that page.
On mobile the form height expands with content. If you use a fixed-height iframe, allow at least 600px or the date picker may clip.
How do I test the form before go-live?
Submit a test booking on mobile and desktop before launch. Confirm confirmation email or SMS arrives, fully booked slots appear disabled, and minimum party rules apply.
Verify submit is blocked until consent boxes are checked. A few minutes of testing prevents live guests from hitting blank forms or wrong slots.
