Core roles
Admin is for account owner or GM, plan changes, privacy settings, and integration tokens.
Host runs operations: approval queue, waitlist, live floor map, and guest notes.
What do Host, Server, and Finance roles do?
Host manages approval queue, waitlist, and seating. Server sees today's reservation list only. No settings or profile edits.
Finance accesses billing, invoice download, and report export, cannot delete bookings or tables. Giving each role only the screens they need is the right security habit.
Organization and venue roles
Organization Admin sees all branches in multi-venue. Venue Manager gets near-Admin access for one location.
Franchise owners may have read-only HQ reports; venue managers invite their own teams.
Security recommendations
Keep Admin count minimal. Use dedicated host logins. Do not run service from personal Admin accounts.
Disable departed staff via Users → Remove Access; deletion does not wipe audit logs.
Custom roles (Enterprise)
Enterprise customers can define module-scoped roles, e.g. marketing read-only reports.
Custom role changes do not require support; use the Role Templates editor.
