Customizing SMS and email templates

Which messages use templates

Booking confirmation, reminders, cancellation, waitlist offer, and no-show alerts each have their own template.

Operational messages are service notices and can go to guests who completed a booking. Promotional copy needs separate opt-in.

Merge fields and preview

The editor fills {{venue_name}}, {{date}}, {{time}}, {{party_size}} automatically. Preview with sample booking data.

Keep TR and EN templates separate. The guest's form language picks which version sends.

How do I control SMS cost?

One SMS segment is 160 characters; longer text bills multiple segments. Many venues use email at 24 hours and SMS at 2 hours for cost balance.

Urgent cancellation notices can be SMS-only. Verify templates with Settings → Notifications → Test SMS to your own number.

Email branding

Email templates pull logo, primary color, and footer from brand settings. No HTML editing required.

Sender name should be your venue name; contact support for SPF when using custom domains.

Compliance checklist

Operational messages should include contact info or cancel links. Marketing templates need ad label and unsubscribe.

After edits, run a test booking through the full message chain.
